Fireproof Cable System
A fireproof cable support system. Designed to fit around plastic trunking, tubing, and armoured cables to hold cables in place in a fire. Consists of a foiled, U-shaped bracket with metal keyhole fixings at either end which wraps around services. Fixed to the wall or ceiling.
Furthermore our cable support system allows for safe evacuation in the event of a fire. Ideal for use in areas such as access routes, which may become hazardous should cables fall to the ground.
FCSS-B is suitable for all but aluminium ceiling supports, due to its lack of heat resistance and low melting temperatures. If you’re using aluminium supports, we recommend you change them for standard wire or steel before using our product.
- Easily installed; metal keyhole fixings at either end fix to the wall above and below the trunking, conduit or cables to be supported
- A smaller clip is available which folds around conduits or armoured cables with the keyhole fixings screwed in place above as support
