Intumescent Putty
Envirograf® intumescent putty, buff in colour, however, the colour may vary. For filling in small holes and joints up to 50mm wide. Also, the intumescent swells as a result of heat exposure. Thus leading to an increase in volume and decrease in density. Therefore, preventing the spread of fire whilst holding a secure seal.
- Applied like normal putty.
- Can paint over, and, stays permanently flexible internally.
- Additionally, unaffected by the effects of moisture.
- Ideal around copper pipes and cables, and around electrical trunking.
Subjected to a fire test in accordance with BS746 Part 22 (1987), achieving integrity of 97 minutes.
