Intumescent Acrylic and Acoustic Mastic

Intumescent acrylic and acoustic mastic, a halon-free, intumescent mastic with excellent adhesion to all materials. After application, a skin forms that allows painting, but the material stays permanently flexible. It is a low-pressure material with good cooling ability for metals and expands up to five times its volume in a fire.

  • For fire-stopping gaps from 1mm up to 60mm wide. Alternatively, for wider gaps, fit Product 40 – Fireproof Sponge into the gap first.
  • Ideal for use horizontally or vertically around exit door frames, cable trays, ducting, and aslo partitions.
  • Available in standard colours brown, grey, black, and white. Additionally, other colours are available to order.
  • Additionally, a new acoustic acrylic mastic version is available for non-fire-rated areas.

Available in 310ml tubes.

Tested to BS476 Parts 20 & 22 (1987), achieving integrity ratings of up to 249. Additionally, tested to European Standard EN1363-1 (2000), achieving 126 minutes protection.

We provide a varied selection of fireproof adhesives, fillers and sealants compatible with a range of materials. Browse our full range of Adhesives, Fillers and Sealants products online.

spirit and then dried.
Dry, dusty brickwork must be moistened prior to application of Envirograf
Intumescent Mastic, using a normal skeleton gun. Extrude the mastic firmly against
the sides of the joint, ensuring firm contact.
Can be painted over only after surface skin has formed.
