Description

Automatic Fire and Smoke Curtain

Automatic fire and smoke curtain made of impregnated silicone. Complete with a control panel – wired into an existing fire alarm system or smoke detector circuit or can also operate independently with a heat or smoke detector.  Powder-coated frame comes in white as standard, or available in colour if required. The curtain roller is motorised. The impregnated silicone curtain cloth can be kept clean by wiping with a damp cloth. Additionally, fitted inside an opening or surface-mounted in front of an opening. Will not obstruct the normal use of the opening, but the curtain will close in a fire.

  • Designed to close automatically in the event of a fire, sealing off the area.
  • A battery backup system is available to operate the system in case of electrical failure.
  • Ideal for industrial or domestic use, such as counters, conveyor belts, reception areas, etc.

Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving 80 minutes of fire protection. Insulated version tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving 91 minutes integrity and insulation.
