A Fireproof Future for Judd House

fireproof beams at Judd House

Application of Envirograf HW system to fireproof beams at Judd House by Markwell Peck

Located on Mora Street in London, scaffolding stands around Judd House. This three storey former industrial warehouse building had been vacant for 12 years. Now, an undergoing redevelopment process proposes conversion of the warehouse into stylish office space. During the redevelopment phase, exposed brickwork and beams required effective fire protection. To fireproof the existing beams appointed contractors, Markwall Peck, used our Product 42 – HW system, to upgrade the exposed beams to over 60 minutes fire protection. A light application of fireproof coating provided effective fire protection as well as integrity for exposed beams.
