Description

Fire Protection Cable System

Our fire protection cable system is a two-part metal unit. Offers both acoustic and fire protection. Designed for cables and services which pass through ceilings or walls, such as those in recording rooms. Furthermore, manufactured with an acoustic sponge and intumescent strip that will ensure protection from the spread of fire.

Attached to the wall either side of the service opening, the hatches on either side of the unit are opened. Therefore allowing cables up to 25mm diameter to pass through. Thus, maintaining integrity of walls and ceilings.

  • Tested in accordance with NEN 6069 providing up to 60 minutes fire protection
  • Airborne sound insulation test rated in accordance with BS EN ISO 717-1:1997

Application Instructions

The unit is screwed onto the wall using the screws supplied, either side of the service opening. Multiple cables can be passed through. When cables are removed the sponge will return to its original shape.
