Trunking Pillows

Reinforced glass cloth pillows filled with fire-stopping sponge and intumescent material. intumescent trunking pillows expand up to 3 times its original size in a fire, creating an intumescent seal and significantly reducing fire damage.

Prevents fire spread within gaps inside plastic or metal trunking in walls, floors or ceilings. Pillows will expand at low pressure, in effect locking together to seal off fire without negatively impacting the integrity of the trunking.

Trunking pillows are designed with a retention tag to attach to trunking for access. They sit tightly inside PVC or metal trunking compressed against wires and cables.

• Suitable for use for cable trunking that house 30-50% wires or cables.

Application Instructions

Intumescent Trunking Pillows are available in a range of sizes to suit standard sizes of trunking. Used
where trunking passes through fire rated floors and walls. The pillows are simply pushed into place in
the trunking where it passes through walls and floors. Supplied with a fitted cord and lug which can be
attached inside the trunking to ensure pillows will be refitted after removal for maintenance or access.
